[...] I just realized that my last post on issue 6 of The Leaf was my 100th post on Ya-Ya’s Tea Board and it fell in the month of the 3rd birthday of the blog! More than enough reasons to have a gong fu session with a beautiful old pu-erh that I save for special occasions… [...]

I've been reading "The Leaf" all along and I find it an excellent magazine. It is well done with good timely articles and great photos. I am amazed [isn't really the right word, but it will have to do] by the depth and breadth of what you are covering. Good work.
My only quibble is I wish it were on paper - I like to hold things to read.
Thanks and best wishes, MA

Hi A.C.,
thanks for visiting and commenting. I'll have to visit your blog sometime soon.
As I state in my post, the amount of published information about tea on personal blogs is enormous. You're right that the majority of the writers don't claim to be experts, but they reach a vast audience of (even more novice) readers. Often, the personal experiences or practices spread to a large part of the readership who regards the writer as a 'guide'. If the writer is doing sound research, than that's great. But sometimes, the opinions stated are rather questionable and it's good to have a reliable resource like 'The Leaf' to go back to...

As one of those personal bloggers, I must say that most of the bloggers out there don't claim to be tea experts. They, like me, are just sharing personal experiences with tea. Hope you will check out my blog sometime to see for yourself. It's at http://teatimewithaccargill.blogspot.com/.

Wow, a whole magazine about tea! Very impressive. Cant wait to read it. I agree, there is way too much information now on the internet about all the different types of tea, rooibos, honeybush, herbal that its confusing. Thanks for putting it together.
