Hi Ainee,
thanks for your comment. I know what you mean by not-so-much-forthcoming shop owners. I guess, we all have different personalities.
You should try some matcha if you get the chance, it's quite special.

Hi,

You have very lovely YiXing Teapots. I have seen them at other stores, most recently in Portland, Maine at Soakology Foot Sanctuary and tea shop. They are all lovely.

I try to visit tea shops when I can. Unfortunately proprietors are not always as welcoming as could be. Even when they know you will be stopping in. They are too busy for browsers or not serious writer.

I say this because I visited Nellie's Tea and Gift shop yesterday and it is a lovely shop. I finally persuaded husband to take drive all the way to Maine from Massachusetts; and Marianne the store owner was kind to inform us of several other tea shops but not addresses right away. It is not her job to know. I am researcher I should have checked up on what else is in Maine. Last year 2011 I began this project and encountered many stumbling blocks. I have said far too much. Nice tea pots and good article on Matcha. I saw some at Dobra Tea in Portland, ME but had not money to purchase, so I purchased a small pin for $1.00 and it is on my book bag.

Happy tea.
